Переглядів 10 тис.2 роки тому
I'm still living in California, so moving forward, I'll only be making creative new california legal air-guns only If I ever vacation back in GA, I'd love to make a new delayed blowback mechanism that I've never seen anyone else do before! This is a quick vlog about how much I love my new job working at 10x Genomics!!!!! My coworkers are all insanely smart and this place is amazing!!!!

Final cube project "Mezzoforte", a weight-balanced, coated RS3 2020 w/ glowing engraved logo
Переглядів 12 тис.3 роки тому
It's been quite a ride, but I get more fun from life than making cube products for small margins. This is it: one last, final cube project just for fun. I call this the "Mezzoforte" cube, and chose the symbol from music theory to represent this last project. You can call it the MF cube for short. The milling creates a 13% weight reduction, and well as changing the friction profiles to create a ...
Rebalancing rotational mass of a cube (maybe one more product LOL)
Переглядів 5 тис.3 роки тому
By removing a lot of rotational mass from cubes, we can create a new balance in the way it turns. If you remove all this plastic that doesn't do anything, you can achieve a cube with a different sound and feel, but the SAME performance/corner cutting With aggressive cuts, I reduced the mass by 12 grams, and I didn't bother cutting the feet or the centers, because those don't contribute as much ...

A day in the life of Humphrey (Amazon Software Engineer Edition)

Cool cube gyro stands (3D file in description free!)
Переглядів 2,1 тис.4 роки тому
I made this for Jeremy's birthday, happy birthday fam! I'm thankful for all the stuff you've helped me with! If you have a 3d printer, or know a friendo that has one, you can get one of these for free. drive.google.com/file/d/1oCkddximKpoA2nRdwV2fRox5e7n72wWu/view?usp=sharing It only took me a few minutes to create, and I'm not going to sell these because i'm too busy studying these days.
Myth busting Vaseline and Life Lessons
Переглядів 2,7 тис.4 роки тому
1 drop of vaseline won’t destroy your cube, and actually creates a unique feeling. Don’t use it to replace your silicone based lubes, but it won’t destroy your modern puzzle, no worries there. Jeremy also taught me tons of life lessons and he gave me the inspiration i needed in my dark moments. I can’t say enough good things about him.
i am once again asking for your support

thanks so much for the kind words everyone! so i’m officially unemployed and i’m looking for jobs, if you could click one of my skills and endorse me on my linkedin page, it shows employers that I actually did work, and it would help me out! If you have the time to click “endorse skill” on my profile, it would help me find a new job! www.linkedin.com/in/propylamine

improving random state scrambling with slice moves(?)

i wrote a script that makes scrambling with slice moves, because people do a lot more these days some moves are awkward, but i def think M2 is better than L2. R2 in scrambles
new clock mechanism experiments (no frame bumps)
Переглядів 2,3 тис.4 роки тому
just experimenting with ways to make clock better i made a drop-in insert that indexes the clock without bumps. This means the gears don’t jump around at all, and they don’t have to do the weird wobble thing that normal clock does. However, this causes a lockup with the buttons, and that’s bad, and a well broken in clock with normal mechanism can outperform this, since it doesn’t have those loc...

Not a downer but a realistic video. I'm 46 just retired and I'm getting into trading as a main source of income and I know nothing about it basically except that most people fail. I played a pretty high stakes game in my last occupation. Most of the people that started out with aren't around anymore and if they are they're in a bad position. But I was very blessed very lucky and I stuck with it and didn't listen to the detractors and it worked. And that's the exciting thing. This video was actually very truthful and honest. And then being so it was helpful. It's no good when you're talking about something serious and you're getting candy-coated responses or information. Its actually much better that way. I know everybody thinks it financial stuff is boring but think about it as in if are not going to be a slave anymore if you succeed. It won't be boring if it's a battle for your life. And that's exactly what it is because today medicines that are available to people with money and techniques and information really is the difference between whether you live a certain amount of time or a longer amount of time which is you've already discussed you translate directly into more financial success ie. FREeDOM...hat's how I looked at things when I was 17 and yes I did some time but I came out on top and in a position now to position to perhaps prosper greatly. I think that's really exciting and I'm excited to follow your journey as we will be taking the same steps probably together in a way. I learned a couple new things today one was I did not know what cubing was it's pretty interesting though you may it looks like be a champion of sorts. I get the funny feeling like you may be somebody real big lol. Well, back to being a little fish. Welcome to the, "back to being a little fish again" club...
